Camping July 2014 & young living essential oils

Blue Lake, vermillion bay, ont
So we went camping...in a cabin...no roughing it lol!

Our little family!  :)

I made up a bunch of stuff with my young living essential oils
-bug spray
-first aid spray
-disinfecting & moisturizing salve
-sunscreen
While we were away I used everything, and was happy to have my diffuser to use nightly so it felt like home.

Our last night cole had a fever so I made up a roller bottle of lavender, lemon and peppermint oils with grapeseed oil and put on his back, chest & forehead.  Used throughout the night and his fever was gone in the morning!!  Yay oils win again and no meds needed!!

My fabric postcards

Here are pics of my fabric postcards I sent out to swap to ND and Australia. It was called We Are the World postcard challenge. It was a lot of fun and as you can see I used our kenora logo. My Australia card has the kangaroo and ND card has the spirits, cute eh?!

Whew is it really Christmas in a few days!!

Well as usual we have been busy busy here. I managed to get my orders for baking done last week and was happy how everything turned out. Just finished icing 4 dozen sugar cookies for Coles Playgroup party tomorrow, he is so excited. Things just seem to go to fast and I wish Ed could slow them down a bit, although today we spent lots of time playing and cuddling and I tried to stay away from working on stuff do we could have some quality time together.
I completed my first group challenge on my new sewing machine and swapped postcards with quilters from North Dakota and Australia. The cards I received were beautiful and it was a lot of fun. Here are pics of them! Mine are the kenora ones obviously :)
