Whew is it really Christmas in a few days!!

Well as usual we have been busy busy here. I managed to get my orders for baking done last week and was happy how everything turned out. Just finished icing 4 dozen sugar cookies for Coles Playgroup party tomorrow, he is so excited. Things just seem to go to fast and I wish Ed could slow them down a bit, although today we spent lots of time playing and cuddling and I tried to stay away from working on stuff do we could have some quality time together.
I completed my first group challenge on my new sewing machine and swapped postcards with quilters from North Dakota and Australia. The cards I received were beautiful and it was a lot of fun. Here are pics of them! Mine are the kenora ones obviously :)

We just celebrated thanksgiving over the weekend which was nice to get to see our families and friends. Cole thought it'd be a great idea to bring his new sucker to dinner so everyone could have a lick...what a kid seriously! I finally finished the baby quilt I've been working on and hope to get it to our friends soon.
Last night was Cole's first time skating at the keewatin rink. We didn't think he was going to go as he told us all the way there he was NOT skating because he was scared. He had nothing but a smile on his face the whole time which us great since half the kids came off the ice in tears or sobbing. Working midnights and waiting to go to bed is torture!

My poor little man Kane is having a rough time cutting his molars, they're just so big!! Anyway here's a little pic of him too with his pearly whites! My sweetie...
